| SOLD Triton 2007 (3 years old) 15 hand Friesian Paint Cross Gelding Triton is a lovely young gelding, who has the elegance and nobility of a Friesian, with the splash of colour and rideability of the Paint. He stands just under 15 hands as of June 1, 2010, and is a nicely built fellow. He is well mannered and up to date on farrier and vet work, including dental. Triton has been lightly started under saddle (walk/trot/canter), and is currently in training for dressage. He has been ridden indoors and out, and has been ponied on trails. He is a sensible fellow, but needs someone with experience to continue his training. Has attended his first dressage clinic and was judged to be a FEI 4 year old prospect! | $SOLD Bliss 2004 (6 year old) 16.2 hand Canadian Warmblood (Premium Approved) Mare Bliss is a well bred warmblood mare by the stallion Beach Boy, out of an Arkansas mare. She was 2009 reserve champion Canadian Warmblood mare for Alberta, receiving scores of 8 or higher at her inspection. Bliss is extremely athletic and has lovely and correct movement and classic jumping form. Her training has primarily been in dressage, but she has also been started over fences and has competed in cross pole hunters at one show. Video available of her jumping with a rider, and of her free jumping. This is a very fancy mare with potential to go far in Dressage, Hunters or Jumpers, with bloodlines and conformation making her a valuable broodmare as well. | $2,500 Charmer 2006 (4 year old) 14.3 hand Registered Quarter Horse Mare Charmer is a nicely bred and well built AQHA mare. She was bred for a nice temperment and solid working build. Charmer started training in March 2010, and is going well at walk, trot and canter. She has been ridden english and western, indoors and out, and has been on trail rides by herself as well as with other horses. She has also been lightly started over fences. She is well mannered, sensible, and confident. Charmer is good for the vet and farrier, and is up to date on farrier and vet work, including dental care. Charmer is a nice horse to work with, but is still green and requires someone with experience or working with a trainer to continue her education. | $2,400 Carma 2006 (4 year old) 15.2 hand Thoroughbred Mare Carma is an athletic thoroughbred mare who raced lightly. She was a fantastic sprinter but was unable to run the longer distances, and so was retired from racing soon after. She has been off from the track since the summer of 2005. She retired sound, and was given time off to let down from the track and to mature physically. She is now starting retraining for a new career and is started over fences. Carma is well put together and is quick and agile. She is a nice mover with a long stride. I could see her being a quick and careful jumper, or a agile barrel racer/gaming horse. | $3,700 Calvin 1999 (11 year old) 16 hand Registered Quarter Horse Gelding Calvin is a kind and sensible AQHA gelding who has done a little of everything. He has shown and trail ridden. Been ridden english, western and bareback. He has done some gymkhana, pleasure events, and some jumping. Calvin has a very smooth jog, and a kind and patient temperament that makes him a great husband horse, well suited to the casual rider. We have used Calvin to pony training horses, and to get young horses used to being ridden alongside traffic; he is very patient with nervous young horses spooking and bumping into him! Cara is easy to work with, good for the farrier, and gets along well with other horses. She is a good mover, with an animated trot and canter. She is sired by Eastern Ruler, who has sired many competitive show horses. |
